Responsibilities

  • Perform site survey activities with a team and independently
  • Preform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Review job installation plan with the Crew Lead
  • Assist in tracking inventory for each project
  • Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes
  • Clean up the job site

Requirements

  • Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician License
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical experience
  • Proficient knowledge of installation of PVC coated rigid conduit systems
  • Able to lead a crew of various sizes ranging from 2 – 5 people
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily.
  • Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs., daily.
  • Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily.
  • Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly, daily.
  • Ability to operate a boom lift and scissor lift.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

 

Experience:

  • Electrical: 5 years (Required)

 

License/Certification:

  • Electrical Journeyman License (Required)
